5 adverts

nike advert





This advert even though it has celebrity's is a parody. Its a parody because footballers would come and play professional footballers in any old park like they are in the beginning  of this advert. The form of the advert is a series as Nike make loads of adverts to promote there products. In the Nike advert they have a logo and also use a slogan "Risk Everything". The techniques which have been used are telling the customers to take risks and buy a product. The slogan suggests that to succeed you need to take risks that's why they showed professional footballers playing football with ordinary kids. Additionally, it shows that if you take risks you will play professional footballers. This advert is for young people who are aspiring to play football and also for young adults who like to buy Nike products.

2) skittle advert




The style of the advert is humorous . It shows that everything the man in the advert touches turns into skittles which would make kids laugh. The form is stand alone because it does not have a series. A technique which is used is a hidden message.The persuasive techniques that are used are used is that the skittles never end and they describe that it taste like a rainbow, which makes it even easier for them to children. The conventions that are used are that it shows the product through out the advert. The advert is aimed at a young audience because it talks about rainbows which make children happy which is who the product is meant for.

3) beats by dre



The style of the advert is intertextuality. This is because it has the song 'The Man' being played and the Barcelona footballer Fabregas wearing the product. The form is stand alone because it does not follow a series. A technique it uses is a hidden message, it is trying to say once you wear the headphones there is not a care in the world for you.They use celebrity endorsement as a way of selling there product which is bound to boost there sales. The conventions used are that it shows the product on the celebrity and music is played through out the advert. The advert is aimed at young audiences because they have used a celebrity that an older audience might not be able to identify.

4) bt broardband

This advert is humorous it is also part of a series of adverts because they have a lot as bt broadband is updated all the time and there are new deals to promote. This can attract a lot of people to buy that one product. The conventions in this advert is that they show the product in the advert. The audience which the advert would be trying to attract adults mostly mostly home-owners who use a lot of internet or need a house phone that has fast connection.



5) John lewis-Christmas advert


The style of this advertisement is dramatic we know this because through the advert it is very slow paced. The technique of it is an emotional response of compassion. The sad music suppose play on the viewers emotions as it is also a Christmas advert and makes the viewers think about everyone coming together as thats what it shows with the animals in the advert. it appeals to almost all ages as it is a very festive advert and is for everyone.
