Music Video- Paper Edit
This is the paper edit that we created before we started the editing stage and this effectively was a plan of action to how we wanted our footage to be edited.
filming rushes
Filming my rushers has been a lot of hard work and very challenging. For example, my group and I had to get the lighting correct whilst shooting the green screen part of the video because we didn't want there to be any shadows when we try to edit this part of the music video. We also had to make the lip synching fit in time with the actual song so the audience thought us the artist were actually singing. We also had to get props and choose location. There were quite a lot of problems my group and i came across but we overcame to produce a good standard of work that we worked hard to try and achieve a good grade.
client feedback
My client wants me to include these improvements to make my music video even better:
- Put more shots of where me and kieron are lip synching at the bus stop into our final draft.
- The pace and quickness of the editing must be quicker.
- Edit all the green screen shots not just add random colours and a background that is significant to your music video.
- Use the warp stabilizer effect on the shots where the camera isnt stable and is wobbling.
- Have our video cut to different shots all the time and quickly because our music video is upbeat.
- Shorten the intro to the music video as it is to long and starts way before the track does
I will use this feedback to make my music video perfect and meeting all the requirements of my client.

Description of Rushes Log
The rushes log is a table made up of information of the footage that me and my group created. Within this table there was the following information: Shot type Description of footage Duration of footage Evaluation of footage, whether it was good or poor pieces of footage. With this detailed table, I could then decide how effective my footage was and what kind of shots I needed for future filming sessions in order to make the music video successful.
